Job Description:

The Territory Manager reports directly to the VP of Sales and is responsible for creating, maintaining and managing customer relationships for our Self-Distribution business area. The Territory Manager is responsible for active selling, promotion and overall support of the goals of our Company and accountable for revenue generation to meet assigned sales quotas within their respective territory. The position requires a high level of initiative, interpersonal and sales skills, and the ability to work autonomously to achieve sales goals.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Fieldwork Brewing Company’s brand, mission and products to lead the sales efforts within the territory and achieve a competitive advantage in the market.
  • Ability to identify new customer prospects within the territory and execution of the sale to those prospects with continued customer relationship management.
  • Regularly identify areas to increase sales volume with existing accounts within the assigned territory. Including frequent visits to those accounts in order to foster our relationships and develop incremental sales and/or tap handles at those locations.
  • Positive and professional interaction with existing accounts in order to provide exceptional customer service to identify and resolve any issues related to products or equipment.
  • Ability to analyze sales forecasts, goals and historical revenues within the assigned territory as tools to assist in meeting the assigned sales quotas, identify deficiencies and communicate market trends with management.
  • Effectively manage existing customer’s accounts receivable to ensure timely payments of invoices and ability to identify problem accounts before any collection issues arise.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings to review goals, customers and upcoming products to gain a competitive advantage in the market
  • Coordinate with our Director of Operations and warehouse/driver staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products
  • Maintain and utilize our distribution software in accordance to Company policy and procedures
  • Assist management with special projects as needed

 

Requirements:

 

  • 2-5 years of craft brewery sales experience highly preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
  • Frequent travel to new and existing customer accounts
  • Ability to multitask on simultaneous work objectives, a keen attention to detail and maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • High level of professionalism, strong work ethic and collaborative mindset
  • Clean driving record
  • Must be able to lift and move objects such as kegs up to 160 lbs
  • Ability to work occasional nights and weekends

This is a full-time, salaried plus commission position that is eligible for benefits such as health insurance, PTO and 401k.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 19 years of age.
Prior work experience with bar/restaurant, brewery, winery, and/or service experience a plus.
Possess basic math skills and the ability to handle money.
Possess or be able to obtain a food handler’s card and training on alcohol service.
Possess working knowledge of beer and craft beer industry (21+).
Possess strong knowledge and enforcement of ABC laws.
Possess awareness of local, state, and federal health and sanitation laws.
Able to lift heavy objects (25 — 50 lbs.)
Able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for up to 8 hours per shift.
Able to work in crowded and confined spaces.
Able to maintain excellent customer service and professional appearance suitable for guest interaction while working under pressure.

Delivery Driver

Fieldwork Brewing Company is a craft brewery founded in Berkeley, CA with a focus on exceptional, honest beer making. Would you like to come join one of the fastest growing breweries in California?

We are currently hiring for a part time delivery driver. This position will be responsible for making deliveries based on invoices, while ensuring high quality customer service is provided at all times.

This is a part-time position, approximately 3 days per week, 4-8 hours per day.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring trucks have been loaded properly with daily deliveries
  • Delivering 13.2 and 5 gallon kegs of beer to our taprooms around the bay area as well as local bars and restaurants
  • Run an efficient delivery route
  • Communicate and work with sales staff as needed regarding deliveries
  • Collecting empty kegs from our taprooms and bars/restaurants and returning to our production facility
  • Movement of merchandise and other inventory from taproom to taproom as requested
  • Communicating with customers, colleagues, and managers to ensure a positive customer service experience
  • Work effectively as part of our distribution team to complete all deliveries and pick-ups as needed
  • Provide excellent service to customers.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Clean Driving Record
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt to the demands of an ever changing delivery day.
  • Experience driving a large vehicle preferred but not required.
  • Current Class C license
  • Capable of moving 140 lb kegs of beer regularly
  • A smartphone to run delivery management software
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
