Job Description:
We’re looking for a reliable Dishwasher to help keep our kitchen running smoothly.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans quickly and thoroughly using both manual and machine washing methods
- Keep the dish pit organized and stocked with clean items throughout service
- Sanitize and maintain dishwashing equipment, reporting any issues to a manager
- Sweep and mop floors, empty trash, and help keep back-of-house as well as front-of-house areas clean and safe
- Assist with basic food prep or stocking tasks as needed
- Follow all health and safety standards for food handling and sanitation
- Support the broader kitchen team during busy rushes, pitching in wherever needed
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Ability to stay on your feet and move quickly in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working around heat, steam, and water
- A team player who shows up on time and takes pride in a clean kitchen
- Prior dishwashing or back-of-house experience is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal health and sanitation regulations
- Capacity to stand, walk, lift, and bend for up to 8 hours per shift
- Comfort working in crowded and confined spaces
- Ability to work with others effectively
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required
Compensation:
- $19/hr + pooled tips
Schedule/Hours Available:
- Must be able to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
