We’re looking for driven line cooks who are eager to grow into a Kitchen Manager-on-Duty role within a fast-paced, creative, and community-driven company.
Fieldwork Brewing Company, founded in Berkeley in 2015, is known for its ever-rotating lineup of fresh, honest craft beverages and a food program centered around Detroit- and Neapolitan-style pizzas, seasonal small plates, and fresh salads. Duties & Responsibilities
Execute menu items with precision, speed, and consistency
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
Complete daily prep work and uphold food safety standards
Support a culture of teamwork and professionalism
Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house teams
Learn and follow Fieldwork’s recipes and standard operating procedures
Maintain full knowledge of ingredients and menu offerings
Engage with management and take part in ongoing training and development
Be flexible and available for nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
Experience in high-volume or scratch kitchens
Pizza-making experience a plus (training provided)
Natural leadership qualities and strong communication skills
Desire to advance into a Kitchen Manager-on-Duty role
Must be at least 21 years of age
Possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s card
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Able to lift 50 lbs and remain on your feet for long periods
Reliable, positive, and professional under pressure
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Compensation Range
Line Cook: $20/hr + tips (averaging $25/hr)
Pizza Lead: $21/hr
Kitchen Lead / MOD: $23/hr
